Contra-indications | Liver disease Caution: in electrolyte disturbances (pre-disposition to QT interval prolongation) |
Side-effects | Common: N&V, diarrhoea, rash phlebitis Rarely: reversible hearing loss, QT prolongation |
Interactions | Inhibits hepatic drug-metabolising enzymes - so increases exposure to: * Antihistamines * Cyclosporin * Digoxin * Theophylline * Warfarin |
