Signs
Diagnostic Tests
- 4th generation assay - test for HIV antibody and antigen
- Always confirm with repeat sample
- Repeat after 45 days if high risk
Management
- PrEP / PEP - pre/post exposure prophylaxis
- HAART - combination therapy
